CHILDREN'S CLASSES: Studio Broadway is a small, private art studio with a relaxed atmosphere located on a small farm just outside of beautiful Historic Snohomish, WA. (35 minutes north of Seattle,north of FlowerWorld & Maltby Cafe). This wonderful location allows you to enjoy walking the many wonderful shops and restaurants while your child is having a great time creating art & crafts projects! We will complete many fun arts and crafts projects with our hands-on classes while learning new skills and making new friends! They will experience many aspects of art including; Watercolor, Acrylics, Plaster Art, Collage & Mosaic. Developing artistic skills gives your child the ability to express themselves "outside of the box" which is extremely important to their development. As many public schools no longer provide or offer art classes, my services are even more valuable as I feel every child should have the opportunity to explore, create and enjoy their artistic side! Classes are daily or weekly and I can cater to your busy schedule! Also, am hoping to put together classes required for Brownies & Girl Scouts to earn the Art & Art in the Home Badges! TEEN NITE: What better way for your teen to develop their self expression than with art? In such a complex world, the arts teach our teenagers that problems can have more than one solution and that questions can have more than one answer. It helps them realize that there are always multiple perspectives to everything & that there are many ways to see and interpret the world. The arts teach children & teens that in complex forms of problem solving purposes are seldom fixed, but change with circumstance and opportunity. Learning in the arts requires the ability and a willingness to surrender to the unanticipated possibilities of the work as it unfolds. Studio Broadway also gives them a safe place away from school & home to express themselves in a relaxed, positive atmosphere.Flexible dates/hours. $120 for 8 classes/hours- materials included.
LADIES NIGHT: Need a few hours of "me" time? Then grab your Gal Pals and come on out to Studio Broadway! We offer a variety of fun, creative projects- perfect for a little time away from the pressures of work, family, house, etc. Each month we have different art projects; such as hand-painted wine glasses or stepping stones, easy children's room murals, cast plaster ceiling medallions, easy cabinet re-do's, faux finishing techniques & more! Or, if you would like to develop your artistic talents on canvas- you can sign up for art classes and unleash the hidden Picasso or Monet in you! Want to have artistic fun WITH your child? We offer "Mommy With Me" classes! A fun-filled way to spend the day! Together you make various projects that you can take home and enjoy at your house! Don't forget- refer a friend and save $5.00 on your next class! $35 per project.
COUPLES CLASSES: Tackling a repo or remodel? Just want to learn how to faux finish or improve it's appearance? Come have fun together while learning a great trade! Or just take Art Classes together and enjoy being creative while spending quality time together! Prices vary/ see calendar.
My classes are designed for a busy lifestyle. I understand that we rarely take the time to smell the roses anymore with all of the daily demands we must face. Many of my projects can be learned or created in just one or two classes, making it easy for you to fit them into your lifestyle. (Prices for these classes are on the Calendar.)
